SBIRT 101: Introduction to Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT101)


Description

In this introductory session, learners will participate in an on-demand interactive orientation to SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment). This training will include case studies and knowledge checks to aid in developing skills using the SBIRT model in the primary healthcare setting.


After completing this training, the participants will be able to:


✔️ Demonstrate understanding of the scope of alcohol and drug use in the United States

✔️ Define the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment framework

✔️ Describe each component part of SBIRT
